“Serving Christ, strengthening churches, and supporting indigenous missionaries

Jim Masella came to faith in Jesus Christ in 1984 at the age of twenty, along with his wife, Linda.
Since that time, their lives have been centered around serving Christ, raising a family grounded in
God’s Word, and faithfully serving in the local church.
Originally from New Jersey, Jim and Linda moved to Venice, Florida, in 1989. Over the years, God
blessed them with seven children, all of whom were homeschooled through high school and taught
the truths of Scripture from an early age. Today, all seven of their children profess faith in Christ
and are actively involved in their local church.
For more than three decades, Jim has owned and operated family-owned local automotive
businesses in Southwest Florida. While still partially involved in those businesses alongside his son
and son-in-law, he has increasingly turned his attention toward ministry and the advancement of the
Gospel. Throughout the years, he has faithfully served in the local church, including serving as a
deacon for many years and currently serving on his church’s missions committee.
As Jim entered his early sixties, he began asking how he could best use the experience, skills, and
resources God had entrusted to him for the furtherance of Christ’s kingdom. That question became
even more pressing when two missionaries he had supported for several years in India and
Bangladesh faced the possibility of losing support as the ministry through which they were serving
prepared to wind down its operations. Burdened by the thought of these faithful servants being left
without support, Jim began seeking a way to help.
What started as a desire to care for two missionaries soon grew into a broader vision. Jim became
increasingly convinced that indigenous missionaries are uniquely positioned to reach their own
people with the Gospel because they understand the language, culture, and challenges of their
communities. At the same time, he was deeply moved by the vast spiritual need around the world,
where millions—if not billions—of people have little or no access to the message of salvation
through Jesus Christ.
Out of that burden, Global Church Providers was founded. The ministry exists to strengthen local
churches, support indigenous missionaries, and advance the proclamation of the Gospel among the
nations.
Today, Jim’s desire is simple: to finish well. As he and Linda celebrate forty years of marriage, he is
committed to dedicating the years God has given him to serving Christ, helping others know Him,
and using the resources God has entrusted to him for the advancement of the Gospel. He believes
that everything he has belongs to God and that faithful stewardship means investing those
blessings in work that has eternal value

Our Statement of Faith

THE SCRIPTURES:  We believe the Bible consists of 66 books of the Old and New Testaments and is the inspired Word of God, which is without error in the original writings.  It is the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of man and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith, profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

GOD:  We believe in One God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in Three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST:  We believe Jesus, God’s only begotten Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth.

THE HOLY SPIRIT:  We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age is to convict of sin and regenerate the sinner upon believing in Christ. We believe that at the time of regeneration, the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into one body of which Christ is the Head; and that He indwells, guides, instructs, fills and empowers the believer for godly living and service.  We believe the miraculous sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, including tongues, prophecy, and revelatory gifts, were given during the apostolic age to authenticate the gospel message and ceased with the completion of the New Testament.

MANWe believe that man was directly created by God in His own image, but that he fell into sin. The entire human race is, therefore, lost and only through faith in Jesus Christ can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

SALVATION:   We believe that the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus Christ provide the only ground of justification and salvation for all who believe, and that salvation is the gift of God received through faith alone in Christ and not by any works of man. We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ by personal faith are born of the Holy Spirit and sealed by Him to the day of redemption. We believe that baptism is not necessary for salvation but is an act of obedience to the Scriptures.

CHRIST’S RETURNWe believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that the hope of His appearing has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

THE RESURRECTION: We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgement and everlasting and conscious punishment.

THE CHURCH:    We believe that the Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the Head.  We believe the purpose of the Church is to glorify God.

ANGELS:  We believe in the existence of angels who worship God and minister to believers. We also believe in the existence of Satan, the devil, a fallen angelic being, who with his demons opposes God, His people, and His work, but over whom Christians can have spiritual victory.

EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP:  We believe that Jesus Christ has commissioned His church to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel, making disciples of all nations. This mission includes evangelism, the nurturing and disciplining of believers, and the establishment of biblical churches among all peoples.
